Question:
My 2-yr old son Paolo is a G6PD deficient. Despite that, he seems to be a
healthy child. I am just curious whether it is normal for a kid like him to
perspire profusely (especially in the head area). Also, can you give me
tips on how to correct his bad sleeping habit (he normally sleeps between
10-11pm) no matter how active he was during the day?
Thanks and God bless...
Answer:
--Yes, toddlers do perspire a lot. Regarding sleeping early, you must
prepare the kid 1 hr prior to your target sleeping time. Meaning, if you
want him to sleep by 9pm, he should be ready by 8pm. Turn off the lights,
play some soft music and definitely no distractions --such as an adult
watching TV or using the computer in the same room. Enforce discipline as
well.

A little something about our winners:
Paolo and I love each other so much since we're practically together every
minute of the day. Especially since I became a full-time mom since January
2008, we've been together going out to different places. from church to the
mall, parties, and gimmicks with my close friends. Paolo loves cars. Those
are his favorite toys. His favorite movies are Herbie fully loaded and Cars
the movie. I believe he has seen these two movies for more than 10 times
each. Paolo is a fast learner. He can now count 1-10 in English and
Filipino. Next month, he's turning 3 years old and this early; I'm already
scouting for a good school for him. He seems to be excited about it, and of
course, me too.
